An animated short film, part of Wandering Stories, a music and video animation series. Work by Greek composer and vocalist Savina Yannatou in collaboration with filmmaker Kleopatra Korai. A version of this work was presented at the opening concert of Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival 2018 in Norway, produced in collaboration with Ultima and Onassis Stegi . Ariel’s song “Full Fathom Five” is a song from William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”, composed by Robert Johnson in 1611. An ode to the spirits accompanying the refugee souls lost in dark waters. “Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell: Ding-dong. Hark! Now I hear them,—ding-dong, bell”.
